What is the project completion rate?

The project completion rate is the project manager’s estimation of how the project is evolving and achieving its goals towards completion.

The project completion rate can be updated either in the monthly status reports or by editing the project item itself in the detailed view. This option is based on a percentage estimation (0 – 100%) and can be updated (by dragging the completion bar) each time the project records a change that should be reported by the project manager.

Whenever a project is reported as “Completed” in the current status of the status reporting workflow, the project item is automatically completed as well and the project completion rate is automatically set to 100% to reflect this state. This does not apply if your workspace has the “Manual completion of projects” option enabled.
